GERALD PRICE MBE

IN MEMORIAM

I have set this page up as a small tribute to the life of my father who sadly died on 23 December 2020, aged 93.

His funeral was held at Our Lady and St Kenelm's Catholic Church, Halesowen, at 11:00am on Wednesday 13 January 2021.

A copy of the readings can be found here, the poem which was the theme of the service, The Gate of the Year, here and the eulogy here.

Following the service, Dad was interred with Mom at St Kenelm's Church, Romsley, close to what was the family home for forty years.

If you wish to make a donation in Dad's memory, may I suggest that this be to Autism West Midlands, a charity which Dad did so much work for during his life and the value of which is still making itself felt today. To donate, please follow this link.

A memorial event was held for Dad on 4 September 2022 at Oakfield House. This is a link to a video of that event

This is a slideshow in celebration of Dad's life, consisting of 93 pictures covering his 93 years, accompanied by some of his favourite music:

This is a recording of the requiem mass. The readings and sermon are at 4:50, the eulogy at 33:50.

An annual task Dad always enjoyed very much was the preparation of a Christmas Newsletter. He had been sending these since 1997 and this is the collected edition which forms a vivid record of his retirement years.
